I left the mansion and was wandering around the forest outside of it when I froze to death because of the cold. But... something doesn't seem right... 1. What happened?

(sigh) I must tell you the truth.

Peto lived his life here, playing the piano. The Lady, Lyudmila, was living out her lavish livelihood by decorating the mansion, frequently inviting guests to the mansion for parties, and selling dolls made by Master Jonas to those who were invited. However, Jonas' dolls did not sell much at these parties.

One day, Peto gave Jonas some suggestions about the appearance of his dolls, and Jonas took this advice with his next creations. The new doll sold like hot cakes at the next party held at the mansion, and Jonas' reputation went up dramatically. He became known as the best doll maker in the Maple World, and has been known as that title since that day. The dolls Jonas made by himself were average, but the ones he made with Peto's suggestions came out perfect.

Inspired by his master, Peto made a doll by himself in the workshop and gave it to the young lady of the mansion as a gift, and it became her new favorite doll. No matter how many times Jonas tried to replace it with a new doll he made himself, she was always in tears yelling for him to give it back.

Eventually, the master, disheartened that his daughter did not love his own creations, kicked Peto out of the mansion as a result of his own jealousy. He threw away the doll Peto made, and shut himself away in his workshop, saying he would make the best doll in the world all on his own. Since then, rumors spread that Jonas had disappeared from the world.
