You may have noticed that sometimes after defeating a monster they drop a card. Each time you collect a card from a specific mob, the card is added to your Monster Book, and you'll learn more about the monster. Collect up to 5 cards for each monster and you complete a Monster Book Card Set. A medal will appear for that monster once you've completed the set.

Use the "B" hotkey to open the Monster Book, then come see me at Lith Harbor afterwards.

The Monster Book Ring is often ignored and thrown to the side, due to that they appear completely useless. That's because it is! BUT, I believe that it is far more than just a worthless ring. By infusing the knowledge and information that you acquire through a Monster Book into a powerful jewel, and placing it in the ring, we could unlock the mysterious powers hidden inside the ring.

Here, I've handed you a Monster Book Ring. It's powerless now, but it'll no doubt become stronger with more knowledge of the monsters that threaten the Maple World. The more you fill out your Monster Book with card sets, I'll be able to further my monster research and delve deeper into the secrets of the Monster Book Ring. For every 30 Monster Card Sets you bring me, I should be able to upgrade your ring to become stronger than before, eventually allowing you to survive with ease during your intense battles to come!
