I understand your interest in the incident, but I suggest you stay away from it from here on out. I don't think you have the right to know more about the incident. It is related to the darkness of the alchemists that reside here... it's something I don't feel you are equipped to handle.

I know this will not be an easy task, but can you search the house of the missing alchemist, Dr. De Lang? You will be rewarded well for this work.

Then before starting this, I'd like to see what you are capable of. I'll be testing your ability to handle tough assignments. The test is simple, actually. Head off to the Closed Lab and rein in the dangerous Homuns.

Controlling Homun can be done through the Pentagram of Alchemy, which is located at the center of the closed lab. Slay the Homuns that are inside, recover the Magic Device that they have stolen, and throw it in the Pentagram of Alchemy. It will then be activated, which will control Homun.

As a proof that you have successfully controlled Homun, bring Lightless Magic Device back after using it all. Then, and only then, will I trust you to handle the more difficult task. If you think it's going to be tough, then you can bail out from this. If you bail out, however, you won't be able to obtain crucial clues on the missing alchemist.

If you are not interested, then that's okay. Just don't ever mention the incident ever again.
