There's no one in Magatia that will prove Dr. De Lang's innocence. If you can launch an independent investigation into Dr. De Lang and his research, that would actually be better for me. I just really wish I could find out exactly what happened to Dr. De Lang.

There's one thing, actually... that I did not notify the president of the society of. I didn't think there was much to investigate, anyway, but... the thing is, inside Dr. De Lang's home, if you place the handle in a certain direction, you'll be able to enter the underground study. It's a place only Dr. De Lang and I know of.

You won't find anything special in there. I went through that room multiple times in hopes of finding more clues on Dr. De Lang, but that place wasn't made for scientific studies or experiments. That place was a small, private place for personal use...

(I saw a book sprawled on the floor. It doesn't look like anything's out of the ordinary, yet... I can't shake this feeling that something might be up. I better open up the book...)

(It may have looked like a regular book, but when I opened it, the center of the paper that made up the books had a circular hole. It looks like if I place a round, flat object inside, then it'll work pretty well... and I can think of an item that may fit in this.)
