Have you ventured into the volcanic lava areas of El Nath, the innermost part of the earth? There actually was a town located in an even deeper region than El Nath.

The residents there worshipped the fire-breathing monster and the statues made out of stone that resembled a human figure. To prove their unwavering belief, they would build a statue right underneath the tree that's planted in the deepest part of the volcano, and worshipped them.

That is when the disasters started occuring. The tree located deep in the volcanic mountain was actually saturated with the evil powers of Zakum. Zakum didn't have any physical body to work with, but after the residents built that statue, Zakum merged himself into the statue, and became a resurrected, living being.

Soon after, the town vanished without a trace. Since you have been in the world of Maple for quite some time, I am sure you must have heard of the monster called Zakum, living under the fiery lava.
